We strive to host career panels every semester in order to engage with working professionals and facilitate career opportunities with our members. We also hold community events in order to maintain the LGBTQ+ community's visibility at UNC and Kenan-Flagler. Learn more about our events, and hopefully we'll see you at the next one!
Career Panel - Capital One
Pride@KFBS held a panel with several Capital One employees to discuss their experiences at working at Capital One. Attendees were able to gain insight about a professional path in software engineering and business analysis.
Diversity & Inclusion Event - Ernst & Young
Pride@KFBS members attended a diversity-focused networking event to discuss LGBTQ+ inclusion at the Big Four firm. The event was jointly hosted with the Kenan-Flagler Business School's MBA Pride Club.
Case Competition - Wharton Alliance
Pride@KFBS members participated in a case competition held by the University of Pennsylvania’s pre-professional LGBTQ+ organization. Our Tar Heel representatives placed in the top three teams!
Out & Proud Day
Pride@KFBS threw a community visibility event at UNC, celebrating National Coming Out Day. Members celebrated in the McColl Courtyard on campus with cake, balloons, music, and more!
